Shiloh James?

I love Shiloh for a girl but am now considering it for a boy. What are your thoughts? Our other DC are Ezra & Winter (girl). Thanks ☺️

I don't think Shiloh sounds feminine at all, so if you like it for a boy, why not?

I haven’t heard it used for boys, only girls, but I’m sure I would get used to it on a boy.

The fact that you’ve had to specify that Winter is a girl’s name in your family is enough to make me say, please don’t do this to a second one of your children.

I'd think Shiloh was a girl. James is a filler middle name.

Not keen for either sex but it sounds quite feminine to me so I'd assume girl without hearing the James part.

What's wrong with gender neutral names?
I have one and never care if people think I'm a man before we meet.
We also have an Alex, Cameron, Charlie, Sam and an Ali in our extended family. None of us have had an issue with it!

There's nothing feminine to Shiloh imo so I would not be surprised to meet a male Shiloh.

It's not that the name sounds particularly feminine but I would assume Shiloh was a girl because the only Shiloh I ever met was a little girl, plus Angelina Jolie has a female Shiloh!

It's not a nice name plus I think it sounds too much like silo. Those massive things on farms for storing silage.

Unisex names tend to end up being girls names over time eg kelsie, Ashley, Evelyn etc.

Also it sounds like Shylock.
