Help me find a boys name!

Looking for a classicish boys name, I love more edgier and nature based names but DH is a traditional man, so somewhere in the middle!
Names on our list that we like but not jumped out at us (yet):
Finn
Arthur (probably my fave but it's pretty popular at the moment)
Eddie (Edward)
Max
Louie

Names we like but can't use:
Jasper
Rowan
Henry
Thomas
Jamie
Charlie
Luke (or any variation)
Ethan

I'd spell it Louis not Louie. The others are OK but a bit popular.

I'd suggest names like Peter, Philip, Michael, Andrew, John, Mark, Simon etc as they don't seem to be in much use but are nice.

If you like Edward you might like Edwin or Edgar.

If you like Arthur, what is it that appeals? The sound, legend, 'granddad name' vibe etc? Maybe something like Tristan or Gawain might appeal.

@KirstenBlest it's the historic/legend aspect of the name I like! Husband says no to Tristan and the other knights like Gawain are all a bit too unusual for him!

I like all of your name options, particularly Arthur. My son has a top 5 name and he’s still the only one in his year at school, so I wouldn’t rule it out. Max, Louie and Edward are also super choices.

Thanks. You've got a nice list of names but none really jumps out at me (apart from the bad spelling of Louie). I like Edwin because of Buzz but Teddy is so popular. I'll have a think.

There's more scope nowadays for names that are a bit different to be acceptable IMO.

Robin! Classic but nature-y. I met a little boy called Robin the other day and thought how gorgeous and underused the name is. Helped that he was super cute!

@RosaSkyes I love Archer, I had Archie as my top name but didn't want their legal name as Archie or Archibald, but Archer could work and a cool full name he has the option to use when he's older! Thanks!

@Mumofgirls2017 I love the thought of the name Kit as both my dad and DH are Christopher. But DH just keeps saying KitKat, I suppose that's not a no though 😂
