First attempt at a girl’s name list

Hi everyone,

We have recently found out baby #2 is a girl and have started thinking about names. What are your thoughts on?:

Alice
Laura
Lara
Jessica
Katherine/Catherine (Kate)

One of my best friends is called Jessica, which makes me a little unsure about using it, but as she lives in New Zealand we will rarely actually see each other in person.

We also like the following but have some reservations:

Felicity (don’t like the nicknames)
Abigail (Abby doesn’t go too well with our surname)
Isabelle / Isabella (popularity, and we disagree on which version)
Sophie / Sophia (popularity)

Anything else we might like?

Middle name has already been decided after a family member and pretty much does with all the options above.

Baby’s sister is called Matilda.

Love your name choices! I'm a Katherine (go by Kate) and I love my name! My little girl (due next week) will be a Jessica (Jess). I have a childhood friend called Jessica but don't see her often, so I think it's fine! Love the name Alice, it was on my list too, but my mum's abusive ex was an Alan so I worried about it being shortened to Al.

I have an Alice and I adore the name. She’s never had it shortened by anyone- just Alice. No one has ever made the wonderland connection either really
