I'm only 15 weeks but I love thinking of names! For context, we're in Wales and already have a DD with a Welsh first name and Irish middle name [Irish last name from DH but he's Welsh].

Here's my current rankings for the names on my lost so far - I'd be interested to see how other people would rank:

Girls
1 - Delyth
2 - Ffion
3 - Enaid (en-eyed)
4 - Della
5 - Eirlys (ey-er-lis)
6 - Olwen
7 - Haf
8 - Celyn (kel-in)

Boys
1 - Dylan (duh-lan)
2 - Dewi
3 - Howell
4 - Gryff
5 - Ralph
6 - Bryn

I'm English, but am familiar with most of the names. I love Eirlys, and Hywel (spelt like this).

@rhubarbby , I did look up Enaid and does come up as a name. Where? It might be a name in some other language or culture.

I looked it up and it came up with
"Soul, spirit, life
Enaid is a name that is probably derived from Welsh enaid meaning "soul, spirit, life"1. In Arthurian Legend Baby Names, the meaning of the name Enid is "From the Welsh 'enaid,' meaning soul or life. Also faithful or abused wife"2. !"
but the link was to the name Enid.

The name Enid (ENN-id) is lovely, but the anglicised pronunciation isn't.

I like Eirlys and Celyn best for a girl, and Dylan or Bryn for a boy! Also love Eleri and Carys

Ffion and Olwen. I had never heard of Olwen before but I like it ☺️

Why don’t you use Dela with one ‘l’ and Hywel the Welsh way?
