But if you meant you're set on Lucy for first name and struggling for a middle name, def a one syllable name such as
Ann
May
Grace

I like it - I would pair with a longer second name with three syllables. There have been lots of good suggestions already.

I have a Lucy Josephine

Not a fan of Lucy at all, it’s not a bad name but due to being so overused (especially in the early 00s) it’s really dull and boring to me. Lucia is far nicer and has more substance to it.

The Lucys that I know with sisters are:
Lucy & Maeve
Lucy & Alana

I’m a Lucy, my sister is Josephine (Josie)

My little girls middle name is Lucy

I think Sophie, Maisie, Bonnie, maddie, Evie, ruby, or even something like Lena, Lilly, Lottie … names that end in ie or y go well.

Rowgtfc72 · 27/01/2024 20:43

Not sure if you mean middle name or not.
Our Lucy is Lucy May.

I have a Lucy.
We don't know any others at all but I was at school with 2 in the 80s. I think it's one of those classic names that everyone knows and people believe is more popular that it actually is.
I like it with a single syllable middle name or two middle names to flow nicely.

I love Lucy. It’s been top of our list forever and we’ll almost certainly use it if we ever have a daughter. We also like Chloe, Hannah and Eve and I think they go well with Lucy as sibling names.

ChiefEverythingOfficer · 28/01/2024 05:04

Literally all names go with Lucy. It is a fine, no-fuss name. You will never have a problem with pronunciation and it's easy to spell.

Prepare for your child to be known as Lucy <Initial> at school - I think there were five in one year, 3 in my child's class.

BigBadBun · 28/01/2024 05:27

Lucy is fine for when she is a little girl, but maybe something more substantial for the woman she is going to be for most of her life, not another ee ending name (Sophie, Emily, Lily).

ThePoetsWife · 28/01/2024 05:29

Lucy Kate

I have a Lucy Albertine ( family connection ) and she was the only one in her primary for a few years until a younger one joined the school. In year 8 now there is one other Lucy. I think you can pretty much use any name you like with it.

I always said her twin name would be Lola or Lily.
