I’m listening to a radio programme featuring a (real) person named Zacharius McGrath. It’s the most amazing name I’ve heard for a while.

(He’s a reformed gangster so not endorsing the person, incidentally!)

Are you adding Zacharius on to your list? Wink

I like Cornelius better
not fan of those longer biblical names. I only like Joshua and I dislike other popular names from bible that are long such as Benjamin and Elijah.
Oh, I also like Jeremy, but only in theory.

I’ve known a Zacharius who now that he is older goes by Zac. Which is to be expected I guess.

Very Biblical.

It’s a splendid combination that’s for sure

He could be Sherlock and Mycroft’s rather tougher cousin..

There was a famous Finnish author and poet called Zacharias Topelius in the 19th century. He called himself Zachris.

I came across an 88yo Constantine in a care home I was doing cover in. I thought that was a really cool name, especially amongst all the Alan’s and Peters.

Don’t know what his second name was

I can just imagine the responses if mn was around 90 odd years ago and his mum put that on here 😂

When I worked in a call centre, I had to contact a Lancelot and a Merlin. Not at the same time, but it pleased me greatly.
