Clara is my favourite- love this so much - simple, pretty but not twee, well known but not over used, works for all ages

Ivy is a close second - for similar reasons to Clara except it is very popular at the moment

Evelyn - my personal preference is usually for shorter names, but Eve / Evie nn’s are so lovely that I still really like Evelyn (as long as you don’t mind it’s popularity)

Maeva - I like this, not quite as much as the others - but it has the advantage of being less commonly used if that’s important to you

Clara then Ivy

Clara or Maeve (not Maeva, never heard of that).

They both make a change from Evie, Ivy and all the other ee's and hopefully there won't be ten others in her class.

I have a wonderful, funny and sweet Maeva. Never thought I'd be a "unusual name" person, it was on our list as we thought it was pretty but had another name all the way until birth. Then I looked at her and just knew "it's Maeva". When I tell people her name I've only had positive reactions. She is totally Maeva and it means "welcome" which is lovely.

Clara is my favourite and fits in best with Teddy & Leo in my opinion. Don’t like Maeva (it sounds made up!) but love Maeve. Hate Ivy, such a horrible, harsh sound to it and quite council estate at least where I am. Evelyn is alright but gives me quite old lady vibes!

Clara is my favourite and I like Evelyn and Ivy as well. I don’t really like Maeva.

I like Evelyn as ev-eh-lin but not as ev-lin or eev-lin, everyone will say it differently.

maeva is ok but maeve is climbing in popularity very quickly so could come to feel dated

I like Maeve too but it doesn’t work with our one syllable surname. I hadn’t thought about the different pronunciations of Evelyn, so that’s a helpful point.

If anyone has any other name ideas, please say. We’re open to suggestions!
