Louisa, very pretty name

I prefer Emma and Louise.

Louisa is lovely.
I like Emma a lot, too - it's a classic.
I don't really like Alice.

Like them all but Emma is my fave

They are all lovely and I don't think you can go wrong with any of them.

I like Louise very much but I associate it with school friends because it was the middle name of so many girls. Not that it's wildly different from Louisa of course.

Louisa sounds the freshest.

Emma is nice but we all know a hundred Emmas.

Not a huge fan of Alice.

Emma just too popular/overused and don't like Lou as NN for Louisa

Uncomplicated timeless names, I like all of them and would be happy to have any as my name. Can't pick a favourite.

My gf is Lucy and got Lu and Lulu at school, it became a nickname that stuck and if she bumps into anyone from school days they'll call her Lu. Something to bare in mind if you don't like Lou.

Louisa is beautiful. Alice is nice too but I always end up thinking of that line from that bloody awful song!

Alice is the best. Louisa is a good name. Nothing wrong with Emma, but it's been so popular for so long I'd go for something else.

Louisa and Alice are also very nice, equally so to me. Of those two I’d go with Louisa as it’s least used.

Emma and Alice are lovely. I prefer Louise to Louisa, the extra syllable makes it feel quite posh and formal somehow. But Emma or Alice are preferable.

In order of preference: Emma, Alice, Louise, Louisa

Alice is one of my favourite names though I prefer it spelled Alys because I’m Welsh. Emma is ok but a bit plain in my opinion. I’m not a huge fan of Louisa.

Alice/Alys/Alyce

Alice is nice, Alyce is awful. Alys/Alis only works if you are Welsh

Louisa

Louisa will constantly be called Louise instead. And like others are saying NN will be Lou or LouLou. Also 'Weezer' stuck for a Louisa I know as her little brother couldn't pronounce it when he started talking, she hates it!
