Which one for a baby boy? We are looking for unusual boy names beginning with M. James will remain as MN. Siblings are brother Ezra John & sister Winter Victoria. Thanks :)

Ha ha I know someone called Milan but he's probably in his 60s now and he says yes I know you were expecting somebody more exotic but I'm from bloody Yorkshire. He still despairs at it.

I have a Maddox James ☺️ my husband is Welsh (Maddox derives from Welsh name Madoc) and is called James (family tradition to give son's their father's name as the middle name).

Nothing to do with Angelina Jolie btw - not sure why other posters are referencing this so much 😂

Not keen on either, quite chavvy and try hard, especially Milan. Maddox just reminds me of Mad Dog..

salamithumbs · 15/01/2024 20:42

Definitely Maddox of the two imo

Cannot bear place names so Milan is a dislike for me. Love Maddox!

James is gorgeous on it’s own.

M names, maybe Marcel, Marmaduke, Max?

DuchessOfSausage · 16/01/2024 12:20

@itsannie86 , the name Milan isn't from the place name. It's used in a few languages like Hindi and Slavic.
