Think classically understated and timeless. Like Anna, Elizabeth. Ty 😀

Look at names used by the Royal Family or biblical names. FWIW, I think the current trend for Old Testament will date that well.

SilverSimca · 10/01/2024 12:56

I thought you were touting Ty as a timeless classic name for a while there.

Seems the Nameberry site has a whole ‘Little Black Dress’ category (although for a mainly English audience these are a bit more cosmopolitan/international than those already suggested).

Little Black Dress Names Are Always in Style

Little black dress baby names ooze style and sophistication, but they do so with classically understated flair.

It's tricky as most names fall in and out of fashion. A lot of names like Clara, Arabella, Jemima, Violet, Ruby etc are in fashion now but were 'out' for decades.

IMO Margret, Anne, Diana, Sarah and Mary are too dated to be considered for a little girl nowadays.
