Which Greek names will be the next big thing?

We don't have any on our list so far, except for Chloe which is quite mainstream, but it seems like they are very trendy now and I just thought about this today and was wondering which one you think will become popular next.

Right now Penelope is really popular as well as Athena. I think Daphne, Apollo, Atlas are all rising quickly. Zoe, Chloe and Phoebe were popular in the past.

Which one of these has a chance and have you noticed any? I'm just so curious:

Antigone - I heard this is rising quickly among posh people, can anyone confirm?

It's just out of curiosity, because I'm intrigued. The only one on our list so far is Chloe, but I'm thinking about adding Phoebe again. I guess we're not brave enough for Persephone, even though I like it.

I used to work with a Danaë. She pronounced it “Danny.”

20 odd years ago I had Clio and Penelope on my list for dd. Went with another choice though, but still would have them both on my list

I used to work with a girl called Ariadne. Lovely name

Clytemnestra is worth reviving.

I've mentioned Antigone to my husband a few times but can't get him on board 🤦🏻‍♀️ He's very set on Hero as Much Ado is his fav Shakespeare play 😂

The fury's are keen on Greek names!! Might be why trend 😂, but there are sooo many names that stem from Ancient Greece! Many of them are lovely

The Greek myths are part of the foundation of Western Culture. It’s the same as using the names from the bible (v few people do that because they are religious).

I'd quite like Circe.

Circe - but GOT might need to retreat into the distance a bit more

I also like Ismene, but she was a bit of a drip

I like Athene more than Athene, but I like must of them other than Daphne which is too daffy

I met a family with a 2 year old named Persephone and a new born named Neptune (appreciate that’s a Roman god not Greek) the other day actually….

Persephone is definitely more popular, but I think Neptune is still very unusual. For good reason lol.

I know of a Kyri (boy), It's shortened from Kyriacos which I think is quite a popular name in Cyprus but I've not heard of any others here.

in all honesty though, Penelope, Xanthe and calliope would definitely make my list, beautiful names.

I always thought Artemis was a boys name, purely because of the books Artemis Fowl. Learn something every day 😂

hera is a brilliant name, I also love hero.

i always wanted an interesting name. My name is possibly the most boring one out there. It was the top contender for princess charlotte, middle name included.
