Help out a lovely couple I know who are having their first child- a girl. The couple is very traditional and proper. They have naming rules!

No seasons.
No months
No eens eg Kathleen
No virtues
Name must have a dominant spelling
No luxury brands
No botanicals
No florals

must go with surname which is a typical Sch…. German surname with 3 syllables.

Susannah
Rosalind (as long as it doesn’t break the floral rule? I think it actually has no etymological connection with “Rose”)

If you're wondering about Somerild, it is an Anglo-Saxon name meaning "a traveller in summer". Worth a comeback, I reckon.
I was going to suggest Susanna, but it means lily, so is disqualified!

Aha

To try and cut the options down - if they have a 3 syllable surname then either 1 or 3 syllables is likely going to be most balanced. Also I assume a name beginning with S is going to be too much with the surname.
