Expecting a baby at the end of April and already have a boy called Daniel. We aren't finding out the gender of our baby, although the radiographer kept referring to our little one as "he" at our last scan (We're hoping this is just a habit rather than giving away the gender as we told her we didn't want to find out).
Anyway, naming our first boy was really easy and there was never really any debate as Daniel is a family name, but this time we're drawing a blank. My fiancé is very laid back and assured me we'll come up with a name, but I at least like having a shortlist!
For boys names I prefer traditional names and for girls' names I prefer those ending in -ee sounds (although I know loads of MNs hate these). For either gender, I'd prefer something less than 6 letters as their surname is only 5 letters long and ends in a y. I'd also prefer them not to have a name beginning with D. I know lots of parents like their children's names to begin with the same letter, but I'm not a fan.
So far all I've come up with is:
James (although very common and putting me off)
Alex
Adam
Lucy
Rosie
SofÃa
Katie
Would love people's opinions on these or any more suggestions!
