Well I like Alistair but which goes better with your surname?

I also like Henrik, but I would assume you had Scandinavian origins if you chose that.

Yes should probably clarify that I am Norwegian and DH is English. We live in Scotland 🙂

All the names fit with our surname nicely (already vetoed some that didn't).

Since you're Norwegian, definitely Henrik! Lovely.

They're all nice except Emmett. Even with the double T I don't think it works in parts of the U.K. and definitely not in cornwall!

If i had to choose one, I’d go Henrik . It’s Scandinavian (which I love), and (older) British people may know the name because Jane McDonald’s boyfriend in the first Cruise tv series (many moons ago) was called Henrik. Also, it is spelt how it sounds, so is not a weird name to us Brits.

I'd remove Emmett from the list. Felix and Jasper could be used for pets.

Alistair and Benjamin are both great. Henrik is less likely to be shortened, and is a reflection of your heritage.

Benjamin is the only one I really like. There’s nothing wrong with the others, they’re just not my taste.

Felix Felix Felix Felix Felix! I love the name Felix. It's a great name. DH vetoed it or I'd have used it.

I don't like Alistair or Emmett but the rest of the list is fine. (But please go with Felix!)

Alistair is my favourite (usually spelt Alasdair as you're in Scotland). Love Benjamin and Jasper too.

I love Alistair although Alasdair or Alastair are my preferred spellings.

Henrik makes me think of Henrik Larsson. Not a bad association for me but still an association with an Old Firm footballer (especially if you're in the West of Scotland).

Love Benjamin, one of my favourite boys names.

I also love names that reflect people’s heritage so Henrik is gorgeous.

Alistair and Jasper are fine.

Emmett and Felix are not to my taste.
