Which one?

We are completely torn between these 3 names - please help!

Samuel
Felix
Benjamin

(I tried to be clever in my previous post and create a poll, but I don't think it worked... so here I am again, without failed poll!)

Samuel or Benjamin. Both can be shortened which I like in a name.

benjamin is ok.
felix sounds a bit frivolous, like a cat.

Benjamin is nice, but it will become Ben and I think that's a bit bland

I like both Samuel and Benjamin.
I also like Sam and Ben (which you'd need to if you give either of those names).

Really don't like Felix. Which I both associate with being a cat's name, and don't really like anyway, and no shortening.

They're all of their time although I like them all. DS had one of each (usually two Sams) in every class he was in. He's nearly 29.

I actually slightly prefer Felix as a whole name but can't think of a good shortening whereas Sam is lovely. Similarly I do like Benjamin but really dislike Ben for some reason (and you would inevitably end up with a Ben!). Benny and Benji are not great either imo.

Both Samuel and Sam are lovely and my friend has a toddler Sammy which is so cute for a little one 😊

Love Benjamin but not Ben, so would choose Samuel

Prefer Benjamin to Samuel but don’t mind it.
