Going round in circles with girls names…Molly and…?

I’ve posted a few times before but I am really struggling with girls names. We agreed on Chloe and then I went off it after about a month. Then we decided on Daisy which I LOVE but now my partner’s gone off it. Big sis is Molly.

I’m hoping he comes round but if not can you please rank the below 3 names-

Chloe - I think I’m coming back round to it but there’s something I’m not 100% about
Emma - always liked this name but worried it’s too bland
Phoebe - this used to be my favourite girls name when I was a teenager but there’s something I can’t put my finger on holding me back

Middle names will be Kate or Louise

Chloe Kate
Emma Louise
Phoebe Kate
Phoebe Louise

Oh actually I do also like Kate as a first name…
Kate Louise - nn Katie Lou?

I think Kate is just lovely out of your choices. Kathleen is my preferred long version if you wanted one.

Kate/Kathleen Phoebe works.

Of the others probably Emma, Phoebe and Chloe in that order.

Emma Kate is nice.

KeeefBurtain · 17/11/2023 22:45

I like Emma best from your list.

if you’re worried it’s too plain, what about Emmeline nn Emme?
Emmeline Kate sounds lovely

sleepymama3 · 17/11/2023 22:46

Emma seems to be the only one where you've given a logical reason against ("too bland"). Phoebe and Chloe both seem to spark negative emotional reactions for you. I think Emma is lovely and if the person it's attached to is your baby, it won't seem bland - because she won't be!
Kate or Katie are lovely too. Katie Grace maybe? Or Emma Kate?

Jessbow · 17/11/2023 23:11

Amy Kate?
or Aimee Kate

Velvian · 17/11/2023 23:14

Louisa Kate or Emma Louise.

ProvisionsOnTheDock · 17/11/2023 23:16

Phoebe is a lovely name and goes best with Molly, I think. To me, they're both the same 'style' of name.

I agree!

HormonalHetty · 17/11/2023 23:35

Molly and Daisy is perfect, I like molly and Emma best but the name Poppy came straight into my head!
Poppy Louise x

User6761 · 17/11/2023 23:36

Emma is by far the best imo. There's a 3 year old Emma at nursery and I think it feels fresh for the new generation. I wouldn't pair it with Louise though - I feel about 80% if Emmas my age have the middle name Louise!

Emma Kate or Emma Catherine are lovely.

mathanxiety · 17/11/2023 23:45

I like Molly and Emma together.

I really like Kate as a first name though.

Would you consider Molly and Sadie?

Bbq1 · 18/11/2023 00:06

Katie Anne

WhiskySour83 · 18/11/2023 00:08

The Molly I know has a sister called Lily.

user1492757084 · 18/11/2023 02:27

I love Molly and .. (in order)
Emma Louise
Phoebe Kate
Kate Louisa

The film Emma is so gorgeous - funny with great music.

CareConundrum · 18/11/2023 03:04

Emma Kate or Emmeline Kate both lovely.

Have you considered Eliza or Alice, both seem to fit the length and style of name you're favouring?

somethingischasingme · 18/11/2023 09:16

Before I read your op I thought Phoebe!

KirstenBlest · 18/11/2023 09:48

I'm not keen on Kate as a middle name (makes me think of masticate), It's lovely as a first name

Chloe was overpopular about 20 years ago. I know many and they all seem to be Chlo.

Phoebe goes well with Molly but I prefer Emma.

Molly and Jasmine sounds good.

Blueshinemoon · 18/11/2023 12:21

Definitely Phoebe Kate. Phoebe goes well with Molly, the others feel a bit dull/ overdone.

Somewhatchallenging · 18/11/2023 12:24

Emma goes best with Molly. Neither Phoebe or Chloe particularly go, but they’re both nice names, and all of them are fine. Kate is also nice, though I’d go for Katherine on a birth certificate.

theduchessofspork · 18/11/2023 15:03

Kate
or second choice Emma

They are both classic but lively

You don’t want two y ends, it’s too twee

I like Kate better short for Katherine or Caitlin / Catrin, but it’s nice anyway

CharlieBoo · 18/11/2023 16:10

Phoebe goes best from your list.. but Daisy I love with Molly too (sorry no help)

Mobey78 · 18/11/2023 17:26

I like Emma and Kate from your list.

Kate Louise is nice.

Applerumleandcustard · 18/11/2023 17:34

My name is Emma , and it’s ( I’m ) not bland , it’s timeless and classic ( and one of my friends has a cat called Emma )
Don't go with Emma Louise though , whilst it sounds lovely together it’s a bit samey ( Louise , Grace , May , Rose = the fail safe middle names )
I don’t like Kate particularly, it’s short for Katherine
Emma Katherine would be my suggestion , at least it’s the same initials

DesertSnow · 18/11/2023 17:36

I think Phoebe goes well with Molly

Themostimportantpart · 18/11/2023 17:38

Daisy was my first thought.
Molly and Louisa.
