Middle name for Matthew

It needs to be something a bit less classic (in my opinion). I love a classic name with a hidden off-the-wall (or unusual at least) middle name. Particularly if you have a bit of a bog-standard surname.

I disagree with the idea of an unusual or more “out there” middle name with Matthew as suggested, because I find that this looks like the parents weren’t brave enough to use a name in first place so they’ve shoehorned it in somewhere to bring some uniqueness. At the same time, I think a classic second name feels perhaps a bit dull (although I love Matthew!).

I think the way around this is to choose something with European routes to bring an elegance to timeless Matthew.
