Help with middle name please!

due in 3 weeks and still struggling with middle name for baby boy.

First name will be Vicente (I am Portuguese)
middle name, I am happy with English or Portuguese/European names, just really struggling to find something I like and that flows!

James or Thomas would go nicely if you went for an English name.

How many times are you asked your full name , and in reality having one / not having one has no impact on life anyway .

James and Thomas are filler middle names. Tiago or Tomas would flow better.

I liked Thomas but I must admit I never thought to do Tomas, I love that!

It’s tradition in my family to have 4 names (1st, middle, maiden name (normally mothers but in this case dh old surname), surname) and I personally go by my middle name as I prefer it which I guess has made me feel strongly about giving my DC that option. If I don’t find one I absolutely love then I won’t give him one, but I would really love to 😆

If you are using a very portuguese name teach him to speak it.

I was wondering that. Is the 'c' an English 'CH' or 'k' or 's', is the e at the end sounded?

I think it varies. I'd guess it to be Viss-enteh in Portugal, but he could get people saying it as if it was Spanish, Italian or Brazilian, or some other way.

@KirstenBlest dont worry I will be teaching all my children Portuguese! I’ve already started with my 1 year old and he seems to be understanding 😆

Vicente Rei or Ray, depending on preference of spelling

So maybe with the longer surname a shorter middle name would flow nicely.
