For an Arab little girl. What would you think?
Thank you!

Is it said as Lah-yeena to rhyme with hyena?

Love it

I like the look. Lot of vowels in a row! But easy to pronounce. And sweet. What does it mean?

countvoncount · 26/10/2023 15:13

It's pretty!

KirstenBlest · 26/10/2023 15:22

It's pretty but watch out for the vowels being transposed, no name is without pitfalls.
Round where I am Anaya and Amaya are very popular and I find it had to remember which is which, and am a bit bored by their vowelly-ness.

Lah-yeena is pretty but I read it first as Lay-eena so be prepared to explain how it’s pronounced.

It is a pretty name and friends will soon learn it.

I also love Ayesha.

theduchessofspork · 27/10/2023 19:13

The pronunciation does make me think Hyena

Also lots of Leila/Lena/Luna and Anaya/Amaya/Ayesha names about, and they do all blur a bit

tortoiseshellcats · 27/10/2023 22:10

I think it's really pretty
