@Smartiepants79 , I said I think Eileen is pretty, and more unusual than Isla. not ‘Eileen is prettier than Isla’ . They sound quite similar and both sound pretty to me.

What do you think of Máirín and Eibhlín?

I would think the person would get fed up of spelling it out and people making wrong pronunciations if it. For a shy child/adult this could be upsetting for them. I’ve been a teacher and seen this a lot where children were embarrassed to correct people.

Poppy has been in the top 100 since the 1990s. Some of them are now adults.
