I like your list OP. Alice, Anna and Lucy are my favourites.

Vexxa · 04/10/2023 03:11

All lovely OP. I like Alice and Anna best.

user1492757084 · 04/10/2023 04:18

I love them all except Esme.

Lizzieregina · 04/10/2023 04:20

I don’t care for Esme but like all the others.

Mumofgirls2017 · 04/10/2023 07:50

Alice!

anna is nice too

KirstenBlest · 04/10/2023 08:03

Esme isn't traditional and seems faddy.

I expected a list of names like Susan, Helen, Mary, Ruth ...

Strawberrycheesecake7 · 04/10/2023 08:07

All lovely names. I especially like Lucy, Hannah and Alice. They’re on my list as well if I ever have a little girl.

Pemba · 04/10/2023 08:14

Nice simple, non-fussy but pretty classic names. I like them all except Esme, which I am not that fond of, although it's fine. (Es-mee or Es-may?)

Anna is my favourite, closely followed by Alice. But you can't go wrong with any of them really.

Carouselfish · 04/10/2023 09:27

I don't like Esme and Grace, feel they are quite a hard sound and not aesthetically pleasing letters to look at either.
Hannah, Lucy, Anna are nice

How about:
Laura
Jane
Julia
Penelope

Watchthedoormat · 04/10/2023 09:32

Love
Anna
Alice
Grace
In that order

CurlewKate · 04/10/2023 09:36

I love Constance.

Lyricallie · 04/10/2023 09:37

They’re lovely names, right up my street. I love Anna, Grace and Lucy.

AHFAutumn23 · 04/10/2023 09:44

Iris

Marcipex · 04/10/2023 09:54

I like Claire, Jane, Jill, Sarah.

MatchingPendants · 04/10/2023 10:08

I think Anna and Lucy are nice, I don't really like the others.

Frodedendron · 04/10/2023 10:13

Anna is lovely and underused at the moment. Hannah would be my second favourite.
Grace and Lucy are nice too.
I don't like Hannah or Esme as much. Alice sounds twee to my ears, I think of it as a little girl's name (possibly the book's fault).

shoopshoopdedoo · 04/10/2023 10:16

All nice names, in my opinion. Anna and Alice are my favourites, but I also love Hannah and Lucy. I would never use Grace as I feel that virtue names are too much to live up to (and I'm not very graceful!) but I can see why others like it.

Reymax · 04/10/2023 12:44

Grace then Anna

Throwawaygh · 04/10/2023 12:54

My daughter is called Lucy (with Iris as a middle name) and my stepdaughter is Hannah. I also had Alice on my lists when I was pregnant. I like them as they’re names which grow with the kids too and sound professional, not that I have any issues with the trendier names but I find if they’re too cutesy when I get CVs through at work it can age someone.

LdyPdy · 04/10/2023 13:08

I'm sorry but I need to agree with most here that I'm not fond of the name Esme personally. But if you are, don't be put off! Love the other names. Emily or Charlotte are also lovely.

LastNightAPandaSavedMyLife · 04/10/2023 13:26

I don’t think Esme is traditional, it’s popular and will date.

Grace is also massively popular, although mainly as a filler middle name along with Rose/May.

I like Anna, Hannah and Lucy.
