I’m going name blind looking for a middle name for my daughter.

I liked Erin but can’t use it because it makes her initials spell a word (so all E names are out)

  • I don’t want a name that ends in an ee sound (definitely)
  • or an a sound
  • I would like a name of Irish origin but that isn’t to complex to say/spell
  • I would also like it to be a saints name (Erin isn’t I know)

If anyone has suggestions please share I thought knowing what I wanted and wanted to avoid would help but it’s really not.

Do the initials create a bad word if the middle initial is E? Would other vowels be problematic.

cherryassam · 03/10/2023 19:24

I know it’s not of Irish origin but obviously there is an Irish connection and it’s a Saints name - Clare

You are all superstars thank you.

Other vowels are okay, I’d avoid O names unless they were utterly perfect otherwise but it doesn’t make a word just the start of some so might look odd as initials.

Off to read up on the meaning of some of the suggestions that have caught my eye that I hadn’t thought of.
