Help us choose a boy's name

Please help us choose between Oliver, Lucas, Otto and Leo for our blond baby boy. We'll soon hit the deadline to register baby and still undecided... Though we're firm with our shortlist.

A bit of context - one parent is British and the other one is Scandinavian/Germanic. Our shortlist contains names that work in both cultures and languages. We have a long double-barrelled surname, part German, part Scottish.

I like them all, but with a double barrel surname, I would go with a short first name.

Leo would be perfect with a long surname! But I like them all ex Oliver, which is fine but just a bit boring compared to your other names.

I'm biased because I have one 😆 He is a little blondey and suits his name a lot!

We also have a Finn which would work with your connections 👍🏼

Otto and Leo both great.

I personally dislike Lucas. Prefer Luke or Luka.

Oliver is nice but at 3 syllables maybe a bit long with your surname (although he might be an Olly!)

Oliver is a nice name, but I prefer Leo and Otto

I love Leo or Otto given you have a long surname. They're both adorable.
Try calling him either name for a morning/afternoon and see what one sits right for him. Congratulations on the arrival of your baby boy.

Otto or Leo, Oliver too long as others have said, and Lucas I'm not keen on.
