Elias is growing on me and I love Eli but dd2 has an El name (variation of Elizabeth) Would having two children with names started with El (plus one child without) work? Or are they too similar?

I think it depends. Elias and Eliza would be too close but I think Elias and Elspeth would be fine.

I love Elias/Eli. But is DD Eliza? I think that’s too close. Ditto if it’s anything that could be abbreviated to Ellie when she’s at school because it’s likely Elias would become Eli.

It isn't Eliza but is the other name mentioned. She has several nns but has never been Ella / Ellie and I can't imagine it as it just wouldn't suit her but I guess you never know.

I think those names would be fine together! Both lovely

I don’t think so. Those two names together would work fine.

InTheRainOnATrain · 03/10/2023 09:29

Elspeth then? I think that’s fine!

RuthW · 03/10/2023 18:01

Elspeth and Elias are fine together.

Which I personally prefer different initials, I think those two work fine together. Eliza and Elias would have been a big no.
