Looking for advice on a baby girls name

I have a little boy already and due a little girl in October. I don’t know why but we have really struggled to pick a girls name. We have three names we are keen on as we would like the name to begin with a C. I like them but not blown away by any. They are Cleo, Coco and Corissa. Any thoughts / does anyone have a lovely unusual name beginning with C? Thanks

You can't seriously call a child Coco,
as in Coco the clown 🤡 or Coco Pops, maybe Coco Powder would the less obvious nickname

PerspiringElizabeth · 25/09/2023 15:50

LOVE Cleo, would have been DDs name if DH had been on board

Like Coco and know many, contrary to PPs’ shock!

I think Cordelia is pretty cool although longer than your example names, so may be too much. It is frilly but also feels a bit edgy.

KirstenBlest · 25/09/2023 15:55

Cleo is Ok but makes me think of a cat.
Coco is awful

Coco is a dogs name.

Cleo is ok.

The other one (sorry can't remember it and can't see it when replying on the app) seems made up.

I think you're restricting yourself if you stick with a C, particularly as you've said you're not mad about any of the names you've suggested.

So hard picking a name isn't it! Good luck, I hope you find the one soon x

Whataretheodds · 25/09/2023 16:38

I really dislike 'Corissa', sorry.

Coco is a pet name.

Cleo is lovely.

I like Cora, Cara, Carla, Caroline, Clemence/Clemency, Catherine, Charlotte.

I wouldn't choose but quite like:
Celia, Celandine, Cecily,

Are you looking for names starting with C or names starting with a C with a K sound (not ones like Charlotte, Cherith or Celia)?

Decembermum2018 · 25/09/2023 16:49

Think Coco is my preferred choice but Cordelia has given me some food for thought. Thanks @PerspiringElizabeth

Coco is a nickname and not really suitable for a middle aged woman.
