Baby names

Lexie, Rosie & Twins

Hi everyone. Currently 24 weeks pregnant with twins, decided not to find out what sex the babies are as would rather a surprise. We have older girls Lexie & Rosie.
For girls we really like Essie & Indie but are struggling for boys. DH likes Alfie & Ollie but I'm not sold.

Any ideas?

I like your choice of girl names. The boys are too popular and a bit boring in my opinion.

Too many Ee sounding names

GU24Mum · 21/09/2023 13:08

I agree with the PP. Two "ee" sounds is fine but four feels a bit clunky.

Something like: Lexie, Rosie, Ella and Hannah or Lexie, Rosie, Ben and Max (for sound examples - you may hate the names) flows better in my opinion.

ReviewingTheSituation · 21/09/2023 13:35

Is Essie an actual name? So many other 'ee' ending names out there. 4 'ee' ending names are going to sound quite a mouthful when you say them all together - are you 100% wedded to that construct?

I know a lovely woman named Essie (although not in the UK). She is 75 years old.

Ilikeyourdecor · 21/09/2023 19:07

I'd personally avoid more ie names so I'd be going for something like Sky and Felix.

Cressie2 · 24/09/2023 19:35

I like all your choices for twins. Especially Indie, which is cool.
