Which one?
I love Dorothy and Aggie as a NN.
Already have a Delilah.
Also love tallulah, Jemima,

Dorothy, Agatha and Agnes are all very harsh sounding and dated - not in a good way. Tallulah is ok but I like Jemima, it’s my favourite out of them all.

OopsieeDaisy · 27/08/2023 23:19

I don’t love any of them, order of preference would be Dorothy nn Dotty, Agnes, Agatha. Also not keen on Tallulah, slightly prefer Jemima.

Namechangedforthis25 · 27/08/2023 23:22

other than Jemma, honestly don’t like any of them much and never have done even though they are popular - I think because they aren’t very feminine sounding names

Namechangedforthis25 · 27/08/2023 23:23

*jemima

cherryassam · 27/08/2023 23:29

I think Jemima goes best with Delilah. Delilah and Tallulah is a lot of ‘l’s.

I’m not a huge fan of Agnes or Agatha and Aggie is cute but just reminds me of ‘aggy’ as in aggressive

BeaLola · 27/08/2023 23:32

Jemima goes best with Delilah imho.

The other names make me think of very old ladies with dentures, sorry

WAC1 · 27/08/2023 23:32

Love them all. Agatha is my fave and goes nicely with Delilah. Congratulations!

ShazzaF · 27/08/2023 23:35

Agnes!!! If I can convince my husband (and myself) to try for a third baby, then Agnes is top of my list for a girl

fridaynight1 · 27/08/2023 23:35

Dorothy
The Ag names sound very harsh.
I’d go with Dottie as a nn.

LastNightAPandaSavedMyLife · 27/08/2023 23:39

Dorothy, Agatha and Agnes are such awful, harsh sounding names. I would hate to be called any of them.

Jemima is ok.

Delilah is a lovely name, none of them go with it.

SM4713 · 27/08/2023 23:40

I'm being honest, but Agnes and Agatha just sound harsh to me. The hard Agg sound 😝 I think of ugly, aggression, old, dowdy, agro great aunt type thoughts.

Dorothy and Jemima are better IMO- but its clearly your own choice.

Stichintime · 27/08/2023 23:40

All awful.

thirdistheonewiththehairychest · 27/08/2023 23:40

We have used three of those names you mentioned in your post.
One of them is the first name of DD1
One is the middle name of DD2
One is the middle name of DD3

ciakace · 27/08/2023 23:46

Out of these, definitely tallulah

AuthorInTraining · 27/08/2023 23:49

Agnes, nickname Nessie would be my choice of those. I'm not keen on Aggie as a nickname even though I know a lovely one. Prefer Dorothea to Dorothy but the latter is nice too. I'm not keen on Agatha.

Restinggoddess · 27/08/2023 23:56

I like Agnes - can also be Senga ( Agnes backwards)
Agatha also strong

Good luck with the naming

Fiddlesticks24 · 28/08/2023 00:06

Jemima is to rhymey with Delilah. Tallulah goes well, although personally I don't like it very much.

Dorothy is all round great. Agatha and Agnes I like but they're much more marmite and a lot of people will think they sound harsh.

ChillysWaterBottle · 28/08/2023 00:09

Gloriously witchy names OP and I mean that as a compliment. I like Agnes. Good strong name.

(I also like Jemima)

ReginaPerrin · 28/08/2023 00:15

Dorothy is a great name, and I love Dot or Dottie as a nn. Dorothy and Delilah go well together.

Not keen on any name that starts with an ‘ag’ as it’s quite a hard sound.

Tallulah and Jemima are too ‘rhymey’ when you’ve already got a Delilah.

Hollywolly1 · 28/08/2023 00:16

Agnes or Agatha,beautiful names

rickandmorts · 28/08/2023 00:22

Love Agnes. I picture a young one as cool and confident.

CallieQ · 28/08/2023 01:08

None of those

Willow12345 · 28/08/2023 01:11

I love all of those names. Great choices x

SequinsandStiIettos · 28/08/2023 01:13

Delilah and Talulah sound good (but I like matching names)
Delilah and Dorothea are nice (Dorothy/Dot sound old)

Delilah and Tamara
Delilah and Savannah
Delilah and Cecilia

TheCyclingGorilla · 28/08/2023 01:23

Agnes at a push. I think the fashion for "old lady" names has been overdone now.
