Marian/Marion

I seem to see 'Marianne' suggested reasonably often on here, but there don't seem to be many Marians/Marions (obviously pronounced differently to 'Marianne'). What do people think of the name?

I really like Marian or Marion. It's a classy and elegant name. It's a refreshing change from all the Lily, Molly, Dolly, Polly, Poppy, Maisie, Millie and Daisy names popular of late.

I like Mariel / Marielle
