What name do you like best?
Shiloh or Leia (lay-uh)

We like modern, unusual but not weird names. Thank you x

Are you Star Wars fans? Or Angelina Jolie fans? Because she will be asked all her life…

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 24/08/2023 09:21

Leia.

LastNightAPandaSavedMyLife · 24/08/2023 09:55

Leia.

But what a pp said about being a Star Wars or Angelina Jolie fan. That was my first thought.

madamsapple · 24/08/2023 09:58

I like them both, particularly Leah ( this spelling)

Neither are particularly modern though - both biblical.

CurlewKate · 24/08/2023 10:03

Well, it has to be Shiloh, I suppose because you can't possibly call a child Leia spelled like that.

CurlewKate · 24/08/2023 10:05

And Shiloh isn't a biblical name for a person any more than Samaria is.....

CurlewKate · 24/08/2023 10:05

Or Nazareth.

Leia is lovely.

WanderingWitches · 24/08/2023 10:16

Leia

mrssanchez · 24/08/2023 13:31

Leia is much nicer imo.

No one calls their kid Rotterdam or Croydon.

Strokethefurrywall · 24/08/2023 13:43

I love them both honestly, I had Leah (Lee-ah) on the list when I was pregnant but also like Leia. I know two Leia's and one Shiloh.

I don't think you can go wrong for either, choose the one you love the most!

chunkychunks · 24/08/2023 13:59

I like Leiah a lot! :)

peaceinourtime · 24/08/2023 15:02

I knew a Leia pronunciation pronounced as Leah. I think it’s a better way to spell Leah which looks stupid but it’s so common, you see it all the time.

@MrsTerryPratchett
"No one calls their kid Rotterdam or Croydon."

Oh God, don't give people ideas!
