Brother for Auden

Baby is 2 weeks and still nameless. Like names that are unusual but not tooooooo pretentious. Looking at Chester, Stellan, Henry but not convinced. I’d like something as unusual as Auden but not as long as Ignatius, for examples. I’ve spent hours and hours researching - what have I missed?

Byron?

Chester is a Labrador - don’t do that.

Henry is nice and would go with Auden. Remember you’re naming an individual who will have to use this name forever. Unusual isn’t all it’s cracked up to be!

I LOVE Chester. A friend of a friend has called her little boy that and I love it every time it comes up in conversation.

Also look for inspiration in all of his ancestors names.

How hard do you want to lean into the Auden Group? That would give you Stephen (overdue a revival, I think), Louis and Cecil.

The H in WH stood for Hugh.
Elliot, but with two lls rather than a direct use of TS.
Cedric
Noel
Spencer
Sebastian
Eric

If you want unusual then Henry is not the one, I’m afraid.
