Girl name help please

Baby girl due next month and we're still really unsure on her name.

So far, our favourites are:

Esme
Amelie
Gabriella
Sophia
Sierra

Any thoughts, comments or suggestions ?

Esme - Ezmay/Esmee?
Amelie - Amelia and Emily far more popular, so might get mixed up with those
Gabriella - Gaby or Ella?
Sophia - very popular, as is Sofia
Sierra - Ford Sierra - Wikipedia

Ha, my mum also mentioned the car!
DH and I are just 30 and neither of us associate the word with the car so that would not really be an issue for us.

Esme would be 'Ez-May'

DH is really against the nn Gabby (though I like it), which is putting him off Gabriella.

Gabriella will likely become Gabby so strike it from the list if dh really hates it.
I like Esme and Sierra.

Beautiful names, i would go with Esme

@trying2decide , many people will think of the car. It stopped production about 34 yrs ago, and not many are still around, but memories are long.
The meaning isn't particularly attractive either.

Gabriella will almost certainly be Gaby/Gabby.
Ella Kingston (HM The King's 2nd cousin) is a Gabriella.

Sophia and Amelie are both gorgeous

Amelie is top of your list for me.

I love Esme, Amelie, Sophia.
I'm also not a fan of Gabby which puts me off Gabriella, and I'm afraid I associate Sierra with the car too!
From your list I would use Esme Sophia or Amelie Esme.

It's funny, my reaction to someone else's reaction helps me gauge how much I love the name.
Love some of the other suggestions given :)

Esme - nice but overdone and 50% of the time people will say it the other way which will be annoying
Amelie - ok but overdone
Gabriella - it’s ok but I don’t like Gabby.

Sophia - lovely but done to death, if that bothers you.

Sierra - don’t be bonkers - it’s either a war torn country, a mountain range, or a car. Would you call her Korea? No.
