Depending on the accent it might get misheard as being Kerry.

I wouldn't be put off, it is pronounced the same way as Kerry/Kerrie but lots of names have different pronunciations.

If your pronouce it Carey most people would assume the first letter is a K so I would name her Kerry or stipulate the C spelling to everyone new.
