Well to be contrary, I don't think they are baby names, not even back when these two women were newborns, I don't think. I'm sure they were registered as Lesley and Susan. Or is the fashion for mis-spelling names (Kortni, Fibi etc) older than we think?

For what it's worth, Lesieli is a legitimate (traditional/established/recognised) Tongan girls' name. But there are also plenty of creative spellings of Leslie/Lesley.
