Sophie or Alice?

We can't decide between Sophie or Alice as first name for baby due soon. I think I prefer Sophie, DH prefers Alice. What is putting me off Sophie is that most of the Sophie's I have come across are in their 20s and 30s so would people assume our child is around that age when they hear her name? Does this mean it will date.

Is Cedelle a name? It's not very pretty. Sally and Alison sound like women in their 60s.

Both a bit dull - Alice is much prettier though - actively quite dislike Sophie

I really like both of these, but I think maybe Alice has the slight edge for me.

Both lovely names. I also love Sophia.

I’m a Sophie and I’m in my 50s and im
named after an aunt, then a great grandmother, the name goes back before the turn of the century so fairly timeless here 😁

my best friend of 45 years is Alice and wishes she was Sophie, and I wish the same in reverse! Either way you’re okay I think!

Go for Alice.
