The three names together do definitely sound similar. The run well together but I'm not sure if they run too well and could cause confusion 😅

Persipan · 23/07/2023 21:45

Yeah, those are a bit samey.

cherryassam · 23/07/2023 21:45

I think it’s a bit too similar to both Eva and Olivia for my taste

Persipan · 23/07/2023 21:53

How about Azalea? You still get the A at the end, a vowel at the beginning, and a pointy letter in the middle, but it's that bit more different from the other two then Eliza.

Ringmasterofmyveryowncircus · 23/07/2023 21:58

I think it works well. Lovely choice of names x

LilacLemur · 23/07/2023 22:00

You'd end up with two Miss E so if they receive any letters when they're older it will be confusing who they're for.

Having said that they probably wouldn't get letters 😂

howmanytimesagain · 23/07/2023 22:00

Lovely. Don't even think about if it sounds similar. Choose a name you love

But similar to Eliza (ish)

shoopshoopdedoo · 23/07/2023 22:24

I think it’s fine!

TheWayTheLightFalls · 23/07/2023 22:27

Imagine calling all three of them downstairs for dinner.

vintagechristmas · 23/07/2023 22:29

I love it! My little one was nearly an Eliza but we went for Alice in the end. I still utterly adore the name, and secretly wish she was an Eliza. I don’t think they are too similar at all.

ODFOx · 23/07/2023 22:36

I'm going to go against the tide and say that Eliza is a bit like Eva and Olivia but nowhere near as much as they are like each other, so if you already have Eva and Olivia then Eliza is similar but actually a slight departure from the other two. ( no V and it has the long I which makes it sound quite different imo).

I think its a little too out there for us

Have you already got an Eva? I do really like Eliza!

ZoyaTheDestroyer · 24/07/2023 08:02

They are very similar. How about Elizabeth?

yes, already have Eva and Olivia

LeonoraFlorence · 24/07/2023 11:12

I think they go nicely together.

BungleandGeorge · 24/07/2023 11:14

I think they all sound similar and would go for a name without an ‘a’ at the end. But if you love it don’t worry about it!

JellyDeels · 24/07/2023 20:45

Eliza is too similar to both Eva and Olivia. Personally I'd choose a name that doesn't end in "a." Some suggestions:

Daisy
Annie
Ivy
Lottie
Sophie
Abigail
Imogen
Ruby
Violet
Annabel
May
Phoebe
Lucy
Isabel

Agree with this. Eva & Olivia are very similar sounding so if you already have Eva & Olivia then Eliza would actually be the different one of the three. But like another PP said it might be tricky when you get letters to Miss E surname and not know which one it’s for so for that reaso I’d choose a different name.
I don’t know if you’re open to suggestions Op @wallflower1 but I think Eva, Olivia & Alice would be lovely.

Yes - too similar as a trio

Esther maybe?

Ideally you want something that isn’t a vowel start

I think Eva and Eliza seem similar to me because they start and end with the same letter.

In real life I've never felt like Eva and Olivia were similar.

I do like Alice but it does seem too simple for me

Interesting, Alice is very very much like Eva & Olivia in style imo. I wouldn’t use the word simple but they are indeed very popular and Alice compliments the others which is why I suggested it ☺️ I’d steer away from Eliza as it’s a bit too similar but are you wanting a name ending in a like the others? How about:

Eva, Olivia & Rosa
Eva, Olivia & Sienna
Eva, Olivia & Sophia
Eva, Olivia & Zara
Eva, Olivia & Lena
Eva, Olivia & Mia
Eva, Olivia & Mila

GiddyGladys · 28/07/2023 13:51

My sister has an Eva and an Eliza. Never considered that they don't go.
