Love them all!

I especially love James, my brother is James, nickname Jim.

My partner and son have James as a middle name

My friends toddler is James

I wanted James as a first name for my son, but I have two brothers and didn't think it fair to include the name of one without the other (even though I'm not honouring my brother with the name, just really like it)

Francis or just Frank - I like Frank.
Alfred - no.
James to be Jimmy - I like James or Jamie not Jimmy.

I like Frankie and James the most.

Not keen on Jimmy / Jim or Alfred (meh) / Alfie (overused).

prefer Francis as the girls version. On a boy it sounds a bit…soppy?!

Frank is my favourite. I love James but not keen on Jimmy, like Fred but prefer Frederick to Alfred. I’ve thought about why I don’t like Alfred and realised I associate it with the Guess Who face called Alfred who had long yellow hair and a beard - we played a lot of Guess Who as children
