Need help narrowing down our shortlist, DH and I have very different name preferences so it's currently quite a long list lol Opinions welcome 🙂 Thank you

Benjamin - love, it's on my list too just unsure due to popularity. I really like it shortened to Benji for a small boy

Luke - Nice but i prefer Lucas and Luca

George - really not a fan, not sure why
Peter - nice enough
Theodore - love Theodore but Theo and Teddy have been done to death

Joseph - nice, not a name you here much anymore, though find Joe a bit meh

Alastair - lovely and interesting but maybe a bit dated. Prefer Alasdair

Vincent - like Vincent but dislike Vince

William - ok just know tons

Edward - like Edwars but not Eddie

my top 3 would be Benjamin, Peter and Alistair with Benjamin a clear favourite

Mariah - tacky
Gabrielle - ok, prefer Gabriella
Felicity - nice
Arabella/Isabella - prefer Arabella
Ruby - lovely name
Celine - dion
Josephine - gorgeous underusee name
Cassandra - dated and dislike Cassie
Melody - pretty
Celeste - not a fan
Verity - ive never warmed to it, not sure why
Daphne - not a fan
Zoe - like

Top 3 would be Josephine, Ruby and Arabella

I love Celeste, Verity and Felicity.
I love all your boys names, apart from George and Theodore.
Loving Peter and Joseph is a great name.

Don’t like: Benjamin, George, Peter, Theodore, Alastair, Vincent, William, seem too old for a baby these days. Where I’m from anyway, i think people in school may have something to say about these names. I do think some of them are lovely, just wouldn’t use them for that reason

I do like Luke & Joseph, think Joseph can be shortened to joe, joey etc.

i don’t like Mariah, Felicity, Zoe, Celine, Josephine, Cassandra, Daphne or Verity. Most are bland or i just don’t like.

Gabrielle, Ruby,Celeste and Isabella are all lovely.

Arabella is a very new popular name so feel like it might be too trendy etc
Melody is okay, sounds more like a Disney movie name though

Boys:
Like all of your choices, especially Benjamin, Edward, George, William, and Alastair. Vincent would be my last pick.

Girls:
I like Zoe best. Verity, Ruby, Josephine and Cassandra are OK. I don’t like any of the others really, especially Melody and Mariah.

Really like Peter, Alastair (or Alasdair), and Luke.

The girls name aren't really my style but Zoe, Ruby, Celeste and Verity are the ones I like most.
