Help with boys names

Please help!
We are having a boy and are struggling with names. Looking for some inspiration.

We both really like Benji but unsure as to whether this goes with our surname which also ends in the 'ee' sound.
Recently found Lando and quite like this.
We also both like Laken but a cousin has this already. Rowan has come up and is a possibility but DH not sure.
Seem to have hit a brick wall in finding new ideas - any suggestions greatly appreciated!

I'm sorry but Benji should be kept for dogs not kids! Ben is a lovely classic name but not Benji.
I'm getting quite American vibes from your likes.....

Wyatt
Greyson
Lachlan (too similar to Laken?)
Parker
Carson
Brodie (might also struggle with the ee surname)

Elliot

I know an adult Benji, and it suits him. He'll be the same age as Teddy, Alfie, Alfie, etc and it will not seem childish
Lando is a bit too trendy, but is nice

Rowan is nice

Could you call him Benjamin or Ben and Benji for short? That way it would go with your surname but you could still call him Benji as a nickname.

Other suggestions: Blake, Joel, Sydney, Luke, Jared, Tyler

Thanks for your help! Definitely some suggestions there that we like.

Ben or Benji is really nice
Prefer Rowan for a girl @TwistedSisters but it's very similar to top 20 boy name Roman (fastest rising boy name) so I'd avoid it for that reason
Jasper ? Max ? Asher ? Curtis ? Joseph /Joey?

continentallentil · 15/07/2023 10:17

Benjamin and Benedict are both nice, so as long as you give him either one as a full name, then he can decide if he wants to drop Benji for Ben or a full form later on

Rowan has been suddenly overdone and will date.

I haven’t heard of Lando but quite like it
