Thinking of changing babies name?

We waited till baby was born to pick a name and we were still very undecided before we registered the baby, as there were lots of names we liked but no clear favourites.

I'm not sure we've picked the right name and I know this can be changed but it goes on the bottom of the new birth certificate and the original name stays at the top and we'd also have to let everyone know what the new name is, not sure how we feel about this.

Aso, I don't know if I'm just other thinking it with hormone changes and a newborn lol

Just wondering has anyone wanted to change their baby's name and did you change it or not? And are you glad you did or not? Thank you

There are probably a few existing threads where MNers have shared their experiences. From what I recall, it's not a big deal if the DC is less than 12 months old. There will be a few links at the foot of this thread.

I'd examine carefully why you want to change it, though. If it's bugging you to the point of anxiety it might be worth having a chat with your GP in case there's an underlying issue.

Good luck.
