Which do you prefer?

I prefer Mya which I would pronounce My-uh compared to Mia which I would pronounce Me-uh.

I would spell Mya (My-uh) either Maya or Maja.

I prefer the sound of Mya over Mia which always sounds a bit insubstantial to me.
But I really dislike the Mya spelling and prefer Maia or Maya.

I know a variety of girls called either Maya, Mya and Maia (all pronounced the same) and I also know some Mia's. I also know a Maya who pronounced it May-a.

I prefer Mia (me-ah)

But if it has to be Mya (my-ah) then I prefer it spelt Maya (still pronounced My-ah)

That’s how I would pronounce it too.

Mia is better but mila myla is better than them both

Honestly I know so many children with variations of this name. All pronounced differently or spelt differently or some spelt the same but pronounced differently…it gets so confusing and hard to remember which is which.

Ah might just park it then!

I know quite a few and they are all pronounced differently and I can never remember who is who - I seem to have a block with this name and try not to say the name out loud.

Maya if you want it pronounced My-ah, saves explanation and looks pretty.

I don't like either of them. Mia is fine until you realise that most people say it as Mere.
Mya looks wrong, although it is used.
Both names disappear into all the Mia, Maya, May, Mae, Mabel, Maeve type names

Mia is lovely and easy to say and spell. Mya can also be Maya or Maia but the last two can also have various pronunciations and just doesn’t sound nice

These names always confuse me, as I never know whether it's me, may or my.
