What are your thoughts on the boys names

Tristram

I would go with Tristan, Tristram is going to be misheard as it anyway (depending on your local accent etc).

Both are fine. Tristram makes me think of Tristram Hunt, which is not a bad association.

I’m not a fan of either tbh. Tristan means sorrow and melancholy and Tristram is a bit of a mouthful.

Tristram doesn't flow as well. Tristan is a nice name.
