Emily - love this! Classic and timeless
Holly - not keen
Mikaela - really dislike
Makena or Makenna - never heard but really don’t like
Pearl - ok
Zoe - not keen

Emily is lovely. I also like Zoe, Chloe and pearl. Prefer Michaela. Not a big fan of holly but do like molly. Hate makenna.

Emily - I really like Emily. It seems like about 10 years ago it very everywhere but it's calmed down a lot now. The youngest Emily I know is 4

Holly - it's OK, a find it a bit overdone

Mikaela - not a fan

Makena or Makenna - really not a fan. It comes across as downmarket

Pearl - lovely

Zoe - lovely though very popular on here lately. Not sure if that correlates to the name charts

Chloe - I really like it

We were going to have an Emily molly (middle name after my gran). Turns out we had a Thomas!
They don't often get it wrong, but luckily we had a boys choice too!
So I like Emily, and also Zoe

I like Holly and Pearl.

Love Emily and Pearl.

Mikaela / Makenna etc seem a bit cheap (don’t know if that’s the right word) compared to the others.

Chloe - love (I have one) but hate that people think of it as dated on here.

I love Emily, and it was on my shortlist.

Holly is OK, but I would probably only use it for a winter baby. I don't like any of the rest.

I like Zoe, Chloe, Emily, and Holly, probably in that order. Emily feels a little bit more established/classic (at least in English) than the others, if that matters to you - also gives a few more possibilities for shortening (Em, Emmie, Millie, etc.) I especially like the meanings of Zoe (life) and Chloe (green shoot).

I like Pearl in theory but the sound is a little awkward to me - it's one of those names/words that I'm never sure if it should be one syllable or two. Plus it reminds me of both purl (as in knitting) and peril.

Not crazy about Mikaela - I know it's the traditional feminine version of Michael in some languages but even the most common English-language version (Michaela) feels kind of contrived to me, like it's really a boys' name adjusted to make it feminine.

Makenna reminds me of the surname MacKenna but the spelling throws me off. For Makena, I'm not sure if it would/should be pronounced the same way or more like "ma-KEEN-ah".

Emily is really dull. Holly and Zoe would be my favourites.
