Last night I dreamed that I named my daughter Charlotte Fern and now it’s growing on me, having never considered using either name (although I do like both!). Any thoughts on this name? Is it a bit boring? I love the full name Charlotte and Lottie is cute. Charlie fine.

Or how about Charlotte Catherine and I can nn her CiCi too which is adorable IMO and CiCi works in the country where we now live (very common nickname)

It’s a nice name, I love Lottie. It’s also quite a cute story that it came to you in a dream.

I like the latter. Good solid names for adulthood and lots of nickname options. Love CiCi and Lottie.

Both options are attractive for a woman and girl.

I love Charlotte Catherine but Charlotte Fern is fresh and connected to the classic children's book Charlotte's Web.

I love Fern, prefer it to Charlotte. Lottie is a cute nn, not so keen on Charlie and really dislike CiCi

I like it, but I like Fern Charlotte even more.

Charlotte Fern is lovely and so is Lottie for short 😊

Love it. I think Charlotte Catherine is a bit too much though.

I really like Charlotte and if there aren’t loads of them where you live I’d go for it. There are loads in the UK

As a middle name I much prefer Catherine to Fern. Fern is a dusty houseplant to me.
