Identical Twin Boys

Hello all!

Currently 17 weeks pregnant with identical twin boys and struggling on the names front.

We have decided on Luca (we love it but understand names are personal preference) for one of them but the second we cannot decide.

I like:
-Mason
-Freddie
-Charlie

Husband likes:
-Hugo
-Oscar
-Noah

We want something not too common but also not too out there and have a two syllable surname.

Any suggestions would be appreciated !! 😊

Hugo goes best with Luca, imo.

Mine were meant to be boys and they were going to be Jack and Hugo. They were girls!

Luca goes best with Hugo for me, but I much much much prefer Freddie and Noah or Freddie and Charlie.

Please don’t use William (Bill) and Benjamin (Ben ) like a friend of mine did about 20 years ago! 😂

Noah, Freddie, Charlie and Oscar are in the top 11 boys names this year, with Noah being at the top. You say you don't want something too common, but these are all super common so just worth thinking about. Luca is also 18th so there'll be a few of those around too.

Mason and Hugo definitely not as popular/common.

Agree they are probably more popular than you think. Use the Dark Greener names website took to check.

I'd go for a different sounding name, and I'd name the younger child Luca.
Luca and Noah - they're a bit too rhymey
Luca and Hugo a bit too of the moment.

Not keen on Luca, sorry. There are lots of boys named Luca or Lucas and various spellings

From your list I'd go with Freddie and Charlie, or Hugo and Charlie, or Oscar and Charlie

Prefer your dH choices with Hugo being my favourite

When I saw Luca I thought Isaac. Noah is in the same genre, but I'd not have two "a" sounding names together.
