Is Calvin better? DP prefers one and I prefer the other.
They are very different style names to me and I prefer old man names

I've got a Francis nn Frankie 🤩

Hollyppp · 17/06/2023 22:39

I absolutely love Frank. There’s a boy in my sons nursery class called Frank, it’s cool!

DramaAlpaca · 17/06/2023 22:49

Calvin is great, I really like it.

Frank is horrid. It's harsh and ugly.

SSCCLL · 17/06/2023 22:50

I came in to say I like Frank and know a 10yo Frank, but then I seen Calvin which is my fave ☺️

Nofreshstarthere22 · 18/06/2023 17:53

I don’t like Calvin. Love Frank or Frankie

Hearti · 18/06/2023 17:55

Love Frank!! Calvin is awful sorry

Happymummydays · 18/06/2023 18:05

I love Frank, it's such a cute baby name and then a nice solid man name!

Daisybuttercup12345 · 19/06/2023 22:02

Frank is OK. Calvin awful.

EllaRaines · 19/06/2023 22:53

Frank is fine. Calvin is awful.

Hooooping · 19/06/2023 22:56

Why are people saying it's harsh and ugly? Maybe it's your DH 🤣

I think it's lovely, especially Frankie for a toddler. It's soft but strong.

AllPlayedOut · 19/06/2023 23:12

Because it is harsh and ugly imo. The "Ank" sound is hard and unpleasant not soft at all. Plus it sounds like a dodgy nightclub owner or loan shark.

cassiatwenty · 19/06/2023 23:49

Not too keen on Frank. A bit harsh

Mumof1andacat · 20/06/2023 00:21

I like Francis with the option of frank
