Is that okay or too much?

These are the ones we like right now:

Opal Hope
Hope Opal

Lily Hope
Lily Pearl
Lily Opal

Are these too much or do some work? Should we add a name, e.g. Opal Chloe Hope or Lily Ava Hope?

Lily Hope is our #1 right now.

My daughter has three word names 😄 and my older daughter has one. We love a noun as a name haha

Sleepyquest · 14/06/2023 20:59

Therefore I'd say go for it!

UsernameIsHarderThanBabyName · 14/06/2023 21:27

Opal Hope

GreenIsTheMagicColour · 14/06/2023 21:48

I think Lily Hope sounds the nicest together.

I definitely wouldn't go for Hope Opal. It doesn't flow.

MotherIand · 14/06/2023 21:54

My children also have all word names for all of their names, including one half of their double -barrelled surname (and actually, the other half is a word but very olde English out of common usage).
I say go for it! Add a third!!!

NorthWestThree · 14/06/2023 21:57

Hope Opal I'd end up smooshing together and saying Hopal. It sounds like all one word HoPoPal.

I love both names though. Opal is awesome!

NuffSaidSam · 14/06/2023 22:00

Avoid Hope Opal that really doesn't work.

They all flow nicely with Lily. Lily Hope is lovely.

FayCarew · 15/06/2023 12:22

Opal Hope - opalope
Hope Opal - hope ope ul

Lily Pearl is probably the best but seems a bit like a 1940s doll

FayCarew · 15/06/2023 12:24

Lily Hope and Lily Opal are ok.

I wouldn't add Ava as a middle name

lovelysummersky · 15/06/2023 19:44

Thanks so far! Would still love some more opinions.

Don't worry too much about the middle name unless you have a common surname. Pick the first name you like best and check that it goes with the surname.
Something like Hope Leslie or Hope Moore is asking for trouble.

QueenieK · 16/06/2023 18:27

Opal Hope or Lily Pearl for me.

However I think Lily is overdone 😬 sorry.
