Orla, Méabh, Aifric, Clíodhna, Síofra, Bláth, Liadan, Doireann, Saoirse, Sorcha, Laoise, Gráinne, Muireann?

Aoife
Cara
Caitríona (I like this a lot, but DH vetoed it)
Maeve
Niamh

I think Ailish sounds slightly dated compared to Fiadh, as I know a lot that are 40 and over, whereas Fiadh sounds lovely and fresh!
I really like Ailbhe, which doesn't seem too common, or maybe Liadan, Sorcha, Saoirse, Saorla, Ciara, Maeve, Aoife, Cara? I know a Fiadh whose sister is Caoimhe!

Or for Scottish, I also love Ailsa

musicalold · 09/06/2023 08:07

How do you pronounce Fiadb?

EachandEveryone · 09/06/2023 08:09

Feeya is how my friend pronounced it. She calls her fee though.

Bovrilla · 09/06/2023 08:17

What about an island name but something like Tyree

ItsNotWhatItsNot · 09/06/2023 08:40

Roise

I don’t think any of those English flower words work as a sibling name for Fiadh.

Confusion101 · 09/06/2023 21:12

My top 3 Irish girls names are:
Ailbhe (al-va)
Cara
Tara
