Hi everyone,

We are down to four options. Which do you prefer & why? Do you have any negative associations with any of these names?
We are Australian based.

Isabella
Camilla
Olivia
Isabelle

Brother is Sebastian (Seb).

Thanks

Camilla is a little associated with the Queen Consort for me… I like Isabelle or Olivia

SapphosRock · 06/06/2023 06:17

Isabella. Lovely names 💕

Just be aware of Belle and Sebastian. I do like Isabella best of your names though. What about Isolde or Isadora (I'm sure there are other similar ones too)

Theoldwoman · 06/06/2023 07:03

Sebastian and Isobel ( prefer this spelling)

Sebastian and Isobel ( prefer this spelling)

My choice, as well Smile

Ah yes, thought this would come up - do you think it’s a negative association these days?

Sebastien and Camilla sounds the best.
It is the Coronation year and Australia is a Constitutional Monarchy so it is appropriete.
Olivia is very attractive too. Also consider Camille.

Isabelle and Isabella is too SSSy with Sebastien.

I don't think it's negative, it would just annoy me if people said, 'Ah like Belle and Sebastian!'. It's possible I'm just easily annoyed though. I was quite neurotic about associations and initials when naming mine.

SneezyEvie · 06/06/2023 12:17

I’m not super keen on any but Isabelle would be my choice out of the four.

ChildrenOfTheQuorn · 06/06/2023 21:25

I like Camilla

LiquoriceAllsorts2 · 07/06/2023 19:51

I like Isabelle (also preferred spelling) best but Olivia and Camilla are also nice. Less keen on Isabella

KirstenBlest · 07/06/2023 20:08

Isabella - nice but too popular, too long and frilly. See Isabelle
Camilla - nice but it's long and I'm not keen on Cam or Milly/Milla
Olivia - Viola is a better choice Smile
Isabelle - too frilly and popular. Don't like Issy/Izzy. Belle is a bit too much with the sibling's name

Daisybuttercup12345 · 11/06/2023 23:54

Isabelle.
Heidi?

NurseEssie · 12/06/2023 00:03

I'm in Aus and wanted Camilla for our baby but husband said it's too much Camilla and Marc. 😤

I love nicknames for Camilla - cammie, mila, Millie.
It wasn't to be.

NurseEssie · 12/06/2023 00:04

Also in Aus no one associates Camilla with the Queen just as an fyi.

mushroom3 · 12/06/2023 00:05

Isabella

Lightbulbspark · 12/06/2023 00:18

Antonia springs to my mind with Sebastian. Toni or Nia are nice nn.

Of your original choices, I like Camilla best.

Dalekjastninerels · 12/06/2023 02:24

Isabella

RosaSkye · 13/06/2023 13:53

I’d say Camilla. Also like Camille.

Aurelia?

continentallentil · 13/06/2023 21:42

Isabel if it’s not overused In Aus

Otherwise Camilla
