What do you think?

Titicaca is a more famous lake...

Yes been there too. Even more unsuitable! I wanted something inspired by our travels but I see this one is not suitable!

No GrinGrinGrin

Atilia maybe? Similar sound but no tits…

Possibly some Huns though

RosaSkye · 04/06/2023 19:28

Beatrix means traveller

No, it's weird and it's got tit in it.

🤣 brilliant first response

Possibly some Huns though

That’s Attila 😂

Atilia is a Roman name, but I’ve just Googled the meaning and it means “woman who has difficulty walking” 🥴

Back to the drawing board perhaps…

weegiemum · 04/06/2023 19:32

Don't. (And I've been to Lake Atitlan, it's amazing!!).

We have "tit" in our surname and the kids - while ok with it now, and in fact quite proud of it - they, and dh, did get a lot of comments growing up.

Radi0liverpool · 04/06/2023 19:21

Okay pretty clear 😂

Yes the lake. And pronounced A tit lan

I thought it was pretty!

Check Forvo for pronunciation - it’s more like A - ti - chlan.

cocksstrideintheevening · 04/06/2023 19:35

God no.

Beeswood · 04/06/2023 19:36

No!

MedievalMadness · 04/06/2023 19:37

You simply can't. Well you can, but please don't.

WhatAmIDoingWrong123 · 04/06/2023 19:37

Definitely not!

SiobhanSharpe · 04/06/2023 19:38

Oh dear. Just no.
(it would be rather like calling a boy Cockatiel or similar, in that it too is not a name and the word includes a slang expression for genitals.)

How rude, my son Cockatiel loves his name

It's a no from me, too.

loislovesstewie · 04/06/2023 19:45

Please no! Some charmer in about 13 years will start calling her A tit.

knobheeeeed · 04/06/2023 19:46

God no,
How did you not notice the ruddy great tit in the middle of that?
Please, for the sake of your child, post any future name choices on here to check. If you missed tit in Atitlan you really can't be trusted!

carly2803 · 04/06/2023 19:58

why oh why do people wan to be "unique".

Just call the child alan and have done with it.

MathsNervous · 04/06/2023 20:01

Eudaimonia5 · 04/06/2023 19:18

No, it's weird and it's got tit in it.

This.

Takemyselfdancing · 04/06/2023 20:02

Titty for short.

Random789 · 04/06/2023 20:02

"Just call the child alan and have done with it."

Or go with Atitlan and explain that the tit is silent.

SheilaFentiman · 04/06/2023 20:08

Lakes - Victoria, Tana, Alexandrina, Constance, Valencia

Any of those appeal?

NadjaCravensworth1 · 04/06/2023 20:09

I'm sorry OP but you absolutely cannot give your daughter a name with 'tit' in it. Her life will be miserable.

maryberryslayers · 04/06/2023 20:11

Bloody awful.

Similar names without 'tit' in:

Atalanta (Greek goddess)
Ottilie
Otilia

continentallentil · 04/06/2023 20:11

Eudaimonia5 · 04/06/2023 19:18

Quite

Azandme · 04/06/2023 20:14

If she grows up to have big breasts it'll be "Look at Tit's tits!" if she's small it'll be "Titless Tit!" and everything in between.

Just no.
