Maud makes me think of W B Yeats so William.

Persephone makes me think of Hades but that's not a great name for a bairn. Zeus? Achilles? Hector?

Love your girls names! For a boy I like Victor, Edmund, Aloysius, Octavuis (Tavy), Eugene, Tarron, Beck, Adonis, Demetrius, Edgar.

God, people are grim. You can (kindly) give your opinion on baby name options. The only response to the name of an actual human child is ‘lovely!’

Being rude about the name of someone’s much loved child isn’t witty, or clever, or edgy, it’s just a dick move.

fwiw I know a Maud who is an utter delight and suits her name perfectly. Sephy is also great.
